I Object Vehemently About Closing The Thread "post pics of your houses and vettes"

Just because the thread began to drift a little from the main topic is not a valid reason to move it or to close it, especially when no one is bickering and no offending language is employed. With nearly 500 forum members replying, and with nearly 28,000 views, this is evidence that members were enjoying and having fun. What is the harm of that!

Maybe you should take it up privately with a moderator.

Like all threads it ran it's course. It was a good thread until it started to deviate from the base subject. Move on.

I believe I understand how threads flow through the system. If no one is interested enough to reply to them any more they automatically become a thing of the past, and move down the line to obscurity. This is true even if the thread has viewers, but when replies stop the thread quickly dies on its own. Thus, I say again, no harm, no foul.

I read the last two pages of posts, and that thread was getting fun and interesting. Sometimes the mods make a mistake, and close a thread by accident.

Was this thread closed by accident??? http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...nd-vettes.html

That dosen't work either. The moderators would not reply to my PM's when they deleted a couple of my posts in someone else's thread because I pointed out where the OP was stating BS as facts. He is one of the fair haired boys and the Mods didn't want to see him upset.
