I pressed the horn "button" for the first time in months (maybe years) and it didn't work. I checked the fuse (#2) and it looked fine.
Are there any common problems I should check for before bringing it to Mr Goodwrench (for the first time since delivery in February, 2005) under by virgin GMPP?
Others here have posted about fuses looking good, but turned out to be bad. Just to be on the safe side, I'd actually replace that fuse with a new one before I took it to the dealer, especially if that seems to be the only problem area.

I was going to suggest you change the fuse regardless of what it looks like and does it work when you hit the lock button on the FOB or use the panic button? Try both of those things then let us know. If the panic button works it might be the sensor in the steering wheel. Mine went out in my 03 2500 after a few years but warranty paid for the fix.
I just tried the "panic" button and the horn worked fine.
I then worked the horn contacts in the center of the steering wheel and the horn started working with a little manipulation.
Maybe the contacts had become oxidized.
Moral of the story: Sound your horn every month or so.

Don't have that problem in LA... It's a challenge not to honk your horn on a daily basis while driving the freeways....
