Default Fuel rail spacers for LSXR intake

Searched and couldn't find anything specific to this topic. I was wondering if fuel rail spacers are required for any fuel rail using the LSXR intake with LS7 injectors?

I've read that fuel rail spacers can cause issues and I'm curious what those issues could be? Seems that all the spacer does is raise the rail above the injector for intake clearance because of the short LS7 injector. Pressure would seem to stay the same in the void created by the spacer above the injector, so what issues could it cause?

Is there a fuel rail that doesn't require spacers for the LS7 injectors using the LSXR or will you just have to use and LS2 injector?

Just trying to get as much info as possible to help in my intake upgrade decision. Thanks.
