I just bought mine about a month ago but it's been too cold to install them. Ambient temperature requirement for installation is 61 degrees and we haven't seen that here in a long time. I took my old ones from pipedreams off and I've placed a rear one into position and they look great. The rear wheel well openings look incomplete without them. I think GM should put them on all C6's ...not just the GS and Z06.
If you have the GM screens on your front-fender side vents, they use two of the mounting holes shared by this splash guard and the fender liner.
That's 4 pieces you are trying to pin together. Screen support, fender, liner and splash guard.
Order a bag of the longer plastic pin/rivet things from Gene Culley (GMPartsHouse) and save yourself some frustration.
I even ended up using a small piece of 3M double-sided tape to hold the screen piece in place before trying to insert the pins through the splash guards/etc.
Thanks for the referrals. If anyone would like to order you can go to www.gmpartshouse.com/search.html and use part number 19170234 and be sure to select Chevrolet make.

do they make these for the grand sport?? and where?
I have driven all winter, on dry roads of course, with mine. I am sure they are keeping the rocks and sand from blasting off my paint. I have noticed there is a little low pressure area behind them where dust collects but it is easily removed. Later! Frank
