LED eagle eye tail light help

I bought a set of LED tail light off of Fleabay and assumed they would just be plug and play. I plugged in and nothing. Anything special I need to do?

The plugs on these do have a certain polarity. Reverse plugs and you should be good to go.

Reverse means take the plug out, turn it upside down and put it back in. It's kind of unusual to have 0 out 4 to work on a first try though, usually at least one works

alrighty so swapped them out and still got one out. Anyone know how to fix one?

I guess 3 out of 4 worked, I ended up leaving the outter 2 in and left factory insides in. Doesn't look bad doesn't look great.

Call the company and ask them to send you a new one if its under warranty.

Were they new or used? When I bought mine off ebay it was an actual sale from Eagle Eyes so it would be worth a try to contact them if new. Mine came with the stated warranty paperwork, etc.

And if they were used I'd still contact the seller and tell him he sold you a busted product and see if you can work something out or return them if it wasn't disclosed in the sale.

Good Luck. He may have sold them because they are faulty. I hope you get your money back or an operable replacement.

I have these and love them.

Like others have said, I would go back and try removing and reinstalling the one that is not working again. Double check any connections. And try it both ways to be sure that you have the polarity right. I would try it with your parking lights on so you will know immediately if it is working or not.

You may have a faulty light but it could also be a connection problem.

Make sure that none of the 3 copper wires on the connection is bent or missing. (see my photos in my thread.)

I stay off ebay for this very reason. However, they do have a discrepancy option where you can contact ebay reps and file a defective product dispute where the seller has to respond to your satisfaction or the charges will be reversed. This essentially means he would have to send you a working item or your money is credited back to your account. Hopefully, it wont come to that.

short of taking it apart and resodering etc... I did everything as far as connections and nothing. I guess on my next day off I'll have to take it apart and check it.
