Default Window speed

Today while rolling my windows down I noticed my drivers side was moving a lot slower then normal. If I hit both window switches at the same time to go up or down the drivers side is about 2/3 of the way done when the passenger side is done. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

The motor "could be" wearing out/going bad.....or not. The regulator "could be" going bad.....or not.

In reality, if it works pretty well, as you seem to describe, there isn't much to be concerned about. If it gets really slooooooow, then you can worry about repairs. There haven't been very many window problems reported or discussed here so I can't offer more than that. If it's going bad, it's a little unusual but not unheard of.

Sorry that's all I have. You can keep bumping this over the weekend for more exposure to see what others say. Good luck.

How can you tell if it is the motor or the regulator? What does the regulator do?

"Regulator" refers to the actual mechanism that moves the window glass

Might try a little silicone spray in the window channel. Helped out on my truck.
