Polishing it should bring back the shine. Check with autogeeks for the recommendation as far as which polish.

A really good polish should bring it back.

If the towing company scratched it, why are you fixing it?

After 3000 grit wet sand you should be able to buff it out with a medium cutting pad and swirl remover followed by Meguires 102 light polishing compound.

Did you go too deep into the clear coat? If the clear is too thin, it will not protect. You should be able to remove the scratches with either a rotary or DA, but careful not to remove too much clear.

Orange pad...Meguires mirro glaze swirl remover 2.o...Buff till it breaks down and throwing little dry *****...wipe off and follow up with machine glaze number three with another pad then your wax..

Will never know it was there.... good luck...start medium speed then fast after its worked in and until it breaks down. Keep pressure light and moving....The combo above cleans up 1500 sand paper no problem

If you did not go through all the clear coat some polish with a PC or like should bring back your shine, pm autogeeks and see what they say

With 3000 grit paper it would be pretty difficult to burn through the clear coat.

The C6 clearcoat is damn near hard as a diamond. And certainly much harder than most other vehicles...
