Default Another Exhaust question

Hey guys, this summer im probably gonna trade my NPP system for a louder one. I've been looking at bullets, but im afraid they might be a TAD too loud for my taste, maybe not. What about the GHL race system/SLP LM II's? seem to be about the same construction and probably the same sound level. Are they louder then NPP's? Thanks, Kevin

Go to a Corvette event and listen for yourself to the different systems. Only you can tell what you want.

I love my Borla stingers. I get a lot of comments on how great my car sounds.

Hey BAblackvette

Both the PRT or the Fusion would be good alternatives if you are worried about the Bullets.

. The Fusions are just like the NPP's, only better!!! Thanks Mark, by the way! I absolutely love the Fusions. Since I have "Generation 1" Fusions as you said, I can't imagine that they got complaints of not being loud enough!!
They are slightly quieter than the PRT's, but sound just as good, not obnoxious when opened.
When closed, they are still louder than the stock ones with the headers, but they marginally passed the "GF" test, and all is good!!!

Best of all, NO DRONE either opened or closed. I was at a local car show last Friday night and everyone loved them, even the NPP guys!

(I should have gotten back to you sooner, but I have been pretty busy at work!!)
Thanks again!

Listening to the same LSX Vette with an aftermarket muffler is the absolute best way. Make sure you find out if any mods made to headers and crossover pipe so you will comparing apples to apples. Mid America Motorworks rates the noise level of the aftermarket exaust systems they offer at: Idel, Acceleration, and Cruse. As with the treadware indicatior used on tires, I would suggest you use these "ratings" for comparison to each other only.

Sorry to bring this up again, im about to put up a WTB ad. I think i'm leaning towards the Bullets, since I can always add the PRT center section if they are too overbearing (although Im worried that will quiet them too much). Borla stingers are sad to be louder then NPPs as well from what i gather, ut I wonder about the GHL races? Looks like they should be pretty ballsy

LOL. Get some headers and bullets if you really want to make her mad. I'm glad my fiance hates minivan's and loves her SL550 (actually maybe a minivan would be better with the money I save I can get me a Callaway).
