Alcantara Shift Boot?

For those that have purchased Alcantara shift and e-brake boots. Are you 100% happy with them or do you have second thoughts you should have gone with leather? I have a DS Vettes Carbon fiber and Aclantara steering wheel and I think it would match. It is to bad there is no where to see both in person.

Im 100% happy with mine. My center console armrest is alcantara in the center and leather on the outsides. My shift **** and e-brake handle are leather and the shift boot and e-brake boot are alcantara. Everything is stitched in red. They look real nice and feel great. Im going to have a D-shaped steering wheel done soon in leather and alcantara. Everything was done by DS Vettes.

Sorry if this is a dumb ? But what's the different between leather & alcantara..? I have heard people refer to the different kind but curious of the difference. Thanks tonya

Alcantera is the same as the ultra suede of the 80's. Its not a real material like leather. I love the feel of it because it doesn't get overly hot or cold like leather does. My center arm rest is done in alcantera and leather also. So is my D shaped steering wheel. Next will be the shift boots and e brake boot and the center section of my seats.
