If Lingenfelter will donate their twin turbo set up, I will do an outstanding write up on how to get your vehicle shipped to and from their facility...
Sounds like a great idea with one caveat for me. I hope the installs are done by EVERYDAY folks and not a bunch of professional installers.
The idea for me is what can I accomplish with my own tools, etc and not what a professional with every tool available can do. I realize some OP's have better facilities than others but I'd like to see what the average (whatever that is) owner can do. If it quickly progresses to nothing but professionals doing installs most owners aren't going to attempt it imo. I want to see REAL DIY type projects.....
It sounds like an excellent idea and might sell a lot of product for the right vendors.....

Exactly
It will be one of "US" a different Corvette Forum Member each time.
What we'll do is announce what product is being offered.
Post a thread where everyone who is interested can post.
We'll draw a number and match it to a post.
That person will get it free or at cost (what ever the vendor authorized)
That person will document the install and post it to the main
"Virtual Build Thread"
Then we'll move on to the next product and repeat the process until
we have built an entire car
That's an awesome idea, Chip. So many times have persons indicated that they weren't able to find a DIY thread on an install. This will bring it all together--especially for those aftermarket mods that correlate to one another.

Completely with this. This is a great way to help the do it yourselfers get the knowledge and self accomplishment of doing there own installs. I am a pretty handy guy around a car but it always helped seeing a write up on a DIY project.
