Default 2010 Interior Red

I'm looking at getting a DSVettes padded leather console lid for my GS, the interior is ebony with the red seat inserts and red trim. I can't find anywhere the actual name of this red, not even when I ordered the car. I'm thinking of doing ebony sides/red top and stitching or the opposite, but I want the red to match the seat inserts. The GS is Cyber Gray, Heritage Package with Red fender stripes, any ideas on this color? DSVettes lists 3 different reds, and I'm not really sure which way to go.

I have a 2010 GS white with two tone red/ebony int and just received from DS the console ebony top and cobalt sides with red stitching, looks great

Thanks for the info, I checked them out on the DSV site and they look really nice. I'm kinda leaning towards ebony sides/red top and stitching, my console top is black and the seat inserts are red, but I'm still a bit undecided. I'll definitely get one soon though, I want it ready whenever this damn snow goes away, I'm SICK of winter!

Ebony sides, a red top and black stitching would match what your car already has in it. You don't have any red stitching (thread) in your car now, do you?

No, all black stitching, I'm still kicking around different ideas though. I'm looking for some in-car pics of this color combo, just to see what looks better. Either way, it looks like a major improvement over stock. You can get an embroidered C6 logo too, but I'm undecided on that right now.

Ebony sides, a red top and black stitching will look like factory. I'd pass on the logo. You'll love how comfortable it is.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't want to over-do the Grand Sport thing, I've already got the Lloyds GS logo mats, so maybe the logo would be a bit much. I do think that combo would look like factory, and anything is an improvement to the hard factory lid. I'm thinking this will be a good time to get it, I've probably got another 5-6 weeks at least before I'll be able to drive it anyway, I like to wait for a few good rains to wash all the crap from winter off the roads.

Dont worry we could probably help you make your decision. We can send you both lids, install them both, pick the one you like and send us back the other one

I called DSV and spoke to Gerrado and he offered to send me scrap pieces of both reds for me to look at and verify the one that I want. Id call and ask so that you can be absolutely sure you are getting what matches.

Thanks for the offer, maybe the following post by kornyboy is a good idea, a little scrap of material should tell me which matches best, that's all I'm looking for. Your product looks very nice, a quality piece, I'm just looking for a factory look and color match. Let me know if that's a possibility, we can work something out.
