Default exterior almost complete

Well I bought my car back about a month or so ago and decided to complete the blacked out look on my dsom. so far it has come together I think. I have done all the lights minus the headlights, currently looking for a black set. I changed out the polished rims for black z06 repo, I painted the calipers black with dsom lettering. I am contemplating doing a black halo and maybe adding a center strip or dual race stripes. what do you guys think

Make sure to keep some tire black on the tires, fender liners and front airdam to avoid it distracting from the car.

The tires will always look very dirty against the all black wheels if you don't.

Yeah I am going to do the black Halo and headlights next hopefully after I sell the stock rims.
It is not lowered yet but that was something I was rolling around. I want to get the interior finished next. I have black and cashmere interior and just took out my cashmere center console and installed an ebony on then next I am going to change out the silver console and button pod or what ever it is for dsom. after that I want dsom fuel rail covers then its time to start performance. I have z06 3inch cat back on the car now. wanting to do headers then supercharger and call it a day.

Default Blacked Out

You asked for an opinion and from the post generated you have received several. Now, lets get back to your once beautiful Corvette...you have made it to look like most everyone else's running around the streets...If you had left it completely stock, chrome wheels an all, then you would have a ride that truly would look different from everyone else..Sorry, just my opinion..like belly buttons, we all have them....The color of your Corvette just screams for Chrome Wheels and maybe some Almost Chrome Brake Calipers from Mike the Powder Coated...Halo, good choice with the dark roof...no stripes...color the rear spoiler, same color as the body..

The reason I decided to do the black thing instead of the chrome(my dad thinks just like you with chrome) is I have a buddy that bought dsom brand new back in 06 then sold it, I liked the color and everything that I decided to buy one. well he saw that I got one like his old one and decided to buy another one just like mine. he has the chrome and everything so people get our cars confused.

mines the front one if you can see the picture

I agree with doing the black halo and black roof panel. I would not go with the stripes.

Haaa? Chrome wheeled C6's are "a dime a dozen" out there. Human nature will prevail that the eyes tend to be drawn to shiny objects such as chrome wheels and not the beauty of the car itself. Also look on line or in a mag and see how many Exotics and modern HP machines are donned with grey/black/polished wheels. Bling is for Caddys except for the V series.
