I'm wanting to put a navigation system in my C6. Any suggestions on the best system?

Kenwood or Pioneer are most popular, arguably the best.

I have a Kenwood. I like the Garmin interface.

I love my Pioneer X920BT. Seriously you can't go wrong with Kenwood or Pioneer though.

I'd go with the Kenwood to get the Garmin nav.

I use the *free* Google Nav on my Android phone (also available for iPhone, Blackberry, Palm and Windows OS.) Unlike aftermarket NAV hardware installs, it updates OTA (over the air) in real time. No DVD's, no need to download any files.

Extremely detailed, the audio directions come through the car's speakers via Bluetooth, PAL or a wired connection for Corvette models before 2009.

Don't even use the factory NAV any more.

I believe you're asking about in-dash units. But if you've never used a NAV before, I'd say a portable unit is a better first step... MUCH cheaper too, easily under $200 for a basic Garmin or Tom-Tom.

And PRACTICE! It can be dangerously distracting to learn-on-the-fly in a traffic situation.
