Is the Grand Sport Gwady?

I'm just a lowly Machine Silver 05 vette owner but I gotta tell you there is something about the Grand Sport I just can't stand. I'm guessing the rims. They remind me of something from the movie X-Caliber or something. The fender markings are just absurd. I just can't stand the look of that car. I know there is not much different about it but it just looks cheesy and gold chain to me. Not sure how the Z06 and the ZR1 can look so classy but the Grand Sport look like an 80's Cadillac to me???
Fixing the badge would be one of the first things I did if I bought a GS. I love a convertible sports car and the GS gives me many of the higher end Corvette features in a vert, so I do love the GS... just not the badge

One of the many great things about the Corvette is that you can make it as subdued as a stock silver base model or as flashy as a ZR1 with tons of mods. It's all up to the owner.

I think it is spelled gaudy, meaning flashy, garish, loud and tawdry, like in tastelessly showy. I think many will take exception with this characterization, especially after having paid extra to purchase this model. So, what is the purpose of this post other than to ****-off G/S owners?
