It is getting close for me to replace the original tires that came with the vehicle. I am at 24K right now and I am sure the tires that are on it now are 30K, and I am the second onwer of the vette.
I am looking for a run flats. Price around 14-15K. The last time I purchased Mechlines AE ZP's and they were great. That was about 4 yrs ago shortly before I got rid of my vette. Now that I have another one and it is time to replace the tires, what are the best tires I can get around that price range?
I got four Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP (runflats) installed, balanced and with rebuilt pressure sensors (TPMS), and old tire disposal charges, for $1,440.00, including $97.50 NC taxes, in October from Discount Tire, and then got back a $70.00 rebate from Michelin.
Discount Tire provides lifetime rotation and balancing and pressure adjustments.
These carry a 45,000 mile warranty.

Reason: Add warranty info.
I bought Firestone (AKA Bridgestone) Wide Oval Run Flats for $900.00.
$100.00 off for opening an account. They have more rubber tread depth than Goodyear and ride better. I now have 26K ( I know what that means) on those tires and still look like 10k left. 06 C6 Vert.
