Can someone please help me with the 2011 Brochure problem im having. I bought a new 2011 GS Coupe and im getting all of the goodies such as the window sticker, etc, to keep with my car and i need the full brochure. The chevy dealer I bought the car sells 1 Corvette a year and does not know anything about Corvette owners wanting this stuff. So when I asked for a brochure, they had another dealer send me a 2010 Brochure. Great, but I have a 2011. The second attempt was my salesperson having Chevrolet send me a mini version that was thanking me for my interest in a 2011 Corvette and it does not have all of the specs and options that the 2010 has. Is this the new brochure for 2011? or do I need to get the actual brochure? If anyone can tell me these answers, I sure would appreciate the help. Thanks.
All this kind of stuff can be found on internet auctions under some heading like "automotive memorabilia". If you're 97 years old and want a factory brochure for your pride and joy....that '34 Packard or whatever it's listed for sale somewhere.
Maybe the 'll brochure wasn't produced. If it was somebody will be trying to sell one.
I called the corvette museum 800 number and they said that there is NO brochure as of yet on the 2011's. Thanks for your help. They also said to check back with them.
I got mine off of eBay when I was considering ordering a new Vette. There are still plenty available. Ended up buying an '09 Coupe and got two brochures for it from eBay.
I got a couple '11's from a local dealer who is our club sponsor last Fall as well. Maybe they didn't print many, but they do exist. (kind of mirror vehicle production levels?) I have original ones from every year;the '55 was the toughest to obtain and cost me about $200 in the '90's.
I picked up one yesterday when I bought my 2009 from a dealer. I asked and he said he would go get me one - they keep them "locked up". So they are out there.
I'm looking at mine right now. It is a 2011 brochure. When I ordered my car last week I got it. The dealer opened a brand new package of them up to give me mine.
AFAIK, there are no 2011 Corvette brochures as they discontinued printing them. (several Dealers have told me this)
I received a 2011 Corvette brochure when I purchased my 2011 Z06 in December. Before I made my purchase, I was in Denver at a dealer looking at a 2011 Z06 they had on the showroom. They also gave me a 2010 and a 2011 Corvette brochure.
Check around, the dealers do have them.
In order for the Dealers to get the Brochures they must be ordered well ahead of when they actually receive them. They place one order and get one delivery. When they come in they are not normally put out for the General Public to pick up at will like the other Brochures. I have my 2011 Corvette Brochure. It was kept in a back room and they had to go get it for me. Its mostly a Black Cover with a Black Wheel on the front. These are expensive for the dealers to order. Thats why the normal Dealer does not get many of the Brochures. I found many of the pages very hard to read. Good Luck finding one. I would be interested in knowing if the Museum can get you any...
I actually went down last Thursday night to my dealer. I asked for a 2011 brochure and he saved me 1. Also I bought my wife a new 2011 Malibu because she needed a car. picked it up just recently on Monday night.
So who ever told you they don't make them are full of bs
