adding z51 package
im looking at a 08 base vette with all z06 body. if i wanted the z51 braking would i only need rotors cals and pads. if so about how much is that and is it worth doing. if i bought this car i would probably mod it very lil if that matters.

You wouldn't "need" the pads, your existing pads would work fine if you wanted to save a little. As for the brake parts, here's from gmpartshouse.com:
You might be able to find someone in the Parts For Sale section with "take off" Z51 brakes but you would need to be careful not to get damaged or abused parts. Good luck.

You only need to add Z51 brackets and rotors... if your interested in a set we can take care of this for you... here's a conversion we did for a customer with our powder coated calipers.
