The back of the Vette is really right behind you. I have had my share of idiots rooling right up to me. My M6 is a pain when you are on a hill and some 21 year old girl is on my azz with a cell phone glued to her ear and wants to push my through the green light as soon as it turns. Its just part of the experience. If they hit you, you hit them, with a bat.

Especially in my 6-speed when I'm stopped on an incline. And you look in the rear view and some 18 yr old is a foot off your rear bumper!

Lots of young drivers where I live. My typical *terror* is to be stopped at a light and look up to the rear view mirror to see an SUV barreling toward me with a young girl holding a cell phone to her ear and looking off to the side.

Needless to say I've got it in gear ready to light 'em up.

Back into a parking spot with a wall behind. Get REAL close. Then get out and see how far away you are.

Another way to visualize this is look where you are sitting. Your back is barely in front of the rear wheel. You've got that big long hood in front of you but little behind.
