Interesting, I read somewhere that the bace C7 will be what the GS is now. The numbers are pretty much showing that!

As much crap as GS owners have taken on this forum, it's pretty clear that those buying Grand Sports have certainly helped Corvette sales this and last year.

And for what it's worth....I wish I had the money to buy a Z06, or better yet...a ZR1. (as a second)

Pretty much confirms my view that the GS blew the Z06 price point outa the water...

Looks like the Z06 has had INCREASED sales over last year, the ZR1 has dropped 4% in itself. (2010 Z06 was 4.3% ZR1 12.9% of production)

In other words the Z06 with Z07 seems to be stealing sales away from the ZR1

With the GS taking over sales I guess there's a chance the Z06 forum might need to merged with the C6 section.

With the GS being only about a quick as the new Mustang GT, perhaps the GS and Mustang forum should merge??

I'm greatly surprised. I knew the GS has been very popular, but had no idea it would be THAT popular.

LOL.

Not so sure about that statement since the GT is a tank on wheels. But then again the Mustang is still no Corvette no matter how fast it is.

And what does speed have to do with anything? I was told that there wouldn't be enough traffic for a GS forum. But after seeing these numbers I would think the Z06 forum could be losing some traffic.

That's almost like suggesting the 1LT drivers on this forum should consider merging with the '81 Datsun Pickup Group since we both have similar quality durable seating materials.

That is if there is an '81 Datsun Pickup Forum with which to merge. Anyone here a member of both?

I hope there's at least a small increase, any increase, over last year. Problem is so many of them aren't actually sold, they're sitting on dealer lots and will need incentives to move them after the 2012's are out.
