QUOTE=RicK T;1577053705]Was steel gray available only in 2005? (YES)
Was titanium gray availabile only in 2006-up? (YES)
Side by side is there a noticable difference? (YES -kind of, Steel is a little darker/more blue)
What is the glove box code for both? (I'll have to search) (Steel Gray is 36I) (Titanium Gray is 84I)[/QUOTE]
RickT has it right. My '05 has the Steel Gray and it definitely has a bluish tint, to where as Titanium has a brownish tint. You can really only tell the difference if you have them side by side....if not, you'de swear they were the same.
and having done aftermarket interior upgrades there is a most definite difference between the steel vs titanium leather... I would say the steel gray is more of a gray with a blueish tint where titanium is more gray gray. You can not mix and match between the two since the color tone is noticeable.

Its funny, you don't really see the blue in the photos. From the pics steel gray looks "gray" and titanium looks grey/white.
I like both, they both look good offset with black.

I think you've picked out the actual subtleties.
When I got my '08 with Titanium I was a little surprised as I expected it to be more gray. To me, Titanium looks like a "putty" or "stone" color, pretty bland. Most pics tend to "brighten" it, make it look more white, which I would prefer. You really should find one to look at in person. JMO.
