Live in Virginia and disappointed that I have to mount my plate on the front of my new Grand Sport. Any tips or input on possible provisions? Sorry...Title should say "License Plate", not Caliper Covers.

Right there with ya, here in MN! Funny how MR. Policeman has no problem with my motorcycles having only a rear plate. Politics.
im with rick, dont put it on and stick it to the man....until he sticks you with a ticket. Although it is required in my state and i did get pulled over for it before and debated with the cop that it doesnt come with a front plate mount from the dealership. i got a warning but i think i was just lucky. (still havent put it on tho)

I actually thought about that...not even installing the plates and just pay the ticket. Also thought about displaying it in the windshield although, could be hazardous. I am going to do some research to see what the fine would be. Thanks for your input.
Remember that song..."I fought the law, and the law won" put it on,lol. Why give the cops a reason? Since here in NY we need them, I see no reason to spend $100 or more for one that comes off for car shows and cruise nights,I'm just going to stick the factory one on that came with my GS.

I'm pretty sure all states only require 1 plate for motorcycles.
Tarzan89, if you do end up mounting a front plate, go with one of the removable type from Top Flight Repro. No drilling and the hardware is out of site.

Same problem here in MN. I just purchased the removable one from TopFlight. Seems pretty well made and gives you the option to take it off when needed.

One of the reasons is the aftermarket ones sit lower and look better when on the car.
One of the few advantages of living here in the land of Oz.
On the downside, we have some of the hightest property taxes on vehicles in the land...so there is always that

I live in Va and have never displayed the front tag on any of my sports cars. On the vette is looks like crap to have the front tag. I carry the front tag with me behind the seat or next to the console between passenger seat. I just pop it in the window when I park. Or if I am driving and happen to notice a cop I will throw it up in the windshield. If I don't want to worry about driving and noticing a cop I just throw it up when I get in the car and it doesn't both me in the slightest.
