Default convertibel top problem

C6 2005 and power top:

The gray/black fabric hanging straight down at the picture (below the top window and behind the seats) with top up.
How do I adjust this, it must be possible to tighten up? Right now the top hatch get caught in the fabric as I open/close it.

The glare cover is what we are talking about. The service manual does not mention any adjustments. With your power top set in the position shown in your photo, press the glare cover against the rear window glass. If the lower edge of glare cover leaves 3 and 1/2 defroster wire spacings exposed it is the correct length. There are 7 push fasteners and 2 screws that secure the glare cover to the number 5 bow if adjustment is required.
The only other thing that you could do is trace the nylon strings that connected to the glare cover to see if a tie off point has come loose. Compare right side of car to left side of car for anything that may be incorrect. I do hope this is of some help to you.

Another option would be to remove the glare cover entirely.

This works well where I live because we have no glare at all since Govenor Brown used stimulus money to polarize Southern California.

Could someone post a copy of the TSB? After I understood what the part is called I did a search and found that there was mentioned a TSB on this. Anyone...?

Michelina, You are one up on me I am not able to access TSB's. The only TSB pertaining to convertable tops involves the headliner replacement. # 08-08-110-001C
The only value this would have is the pictorials showing the cable routings.
