Going to trust factual data, analysis, articles, theory, and personal experience over B.S. from a nobody (non mechanic) on the forums...
Kind of funny how we all can discuss it but you lay guilt and get personal. Not real cool at all.

As for me I will rely on actual proof. Just with LS motors alone over 600,000 of them with no catch cans, no loss of power and no ill effects. I can live with that FACT! Again, check out the latest "high mileage" threads in the C6 and C5 sections, more than enough proof right there.

absolutely, I put one on my C5 and will on my c6 very soon. First month will make a believer out of anyone. I couldn't believe that Corvette engineers would let that much oil go through the intake.

You cannot claim in all those cars that there was not a loss of power ...this is speculation and not true unless they were all dyno'd and they were not. More B.S.

1.Guilt..? If you felt guilt for not putting a catch can on your car after reading my post than this is your own guilt....no one elses. No one else made that comment only you.
2. Personal? No. again just fact ...you are a nobody... and you are not a mechanic ...
3. How about another fact...You of all people should not be telling anyone that they are being uncool --every post you make is condesending and arrogant to others.

If I hurt your ego I apologize but fact is fact.

Apparently Racer has access to some database where he knows all the details and performance gains or losses over time of all 600,000 LS motors... He knows what mods were done or were not too

I don't want any hate rained down on me but ECS says they are helpful on blower cars and I do have one. I've never got much oil out of mine but it's on anyway. Helpful? Like most things in life...it's debateable!

I just love it when I see a new "catch can" thread pop up on the forum. I make some pop corn and settle back for some hilarious entertainment. Why anyone even cares who installs preventative measures or not is beyond me. It's like a knee jerk reaction...

oh crap, someone is going to install a catch can!!!!! No, no, no - Haven't they heard that over 600,000 LS motors have driven around the entire planet 10,000 times and not one of these cars had a catch can!!!!
