Fob has a key to open hatch/trunk, then trunk has cable to open door. If inside, pull lever infront of seat by rocker.
Best to read manual & familiarize your self before hand

That was 05. You have a key that goes in by the trunk/hatch release, then there is a cable on the left side in the trunk/ hatch to release door. It is a good idea to ge familiar with it before you lose power!!
I believe 08 is they year they switched from mechanical door handled to electric. What happens when the battery goes dead?

And a few that got locked out of their C6 when the battery went dead found out there was a problem with their key and/or the key operated rear latch - the key couldn't open the rear hatch. Every new C6 owner is advised to try the key on receipt of the car.
If you need extra key's your local hardware store most likely does not stock the blank and will tell you it's a dealer only item. But they can order them, as soon as you tell them what it is you need. The blank is an ILCO B106P or B106. The same key is used on a Chevy Cobalt and Saturn's. Cost me $3 each for copies.
