I was thinking of going to a two-tone interior (black/red or black/cashmere) on the doors, dash, and seats.
I've seen a lot of vettes with this kind of color scheme. Is this a factory option? Is there any place that can source the parts without me having to figure out every individual part number?
All factory interiors that are not solid ebony are 2-tone. In all cases (except for 2008+ 4LTs), the upper dash and upper door panels are ebony. The lower door panels, lower dash, and seats are the secondary color (steel gray (2005 only), Titanium (2006+), red, or cashmere). The color of the seat belts, center console lid, and rear center console will be either ebony or the secondary colr, depending on model year. Carpets are ebony except for cashmere interiors which have cashmere front carpets.
If a 2LT or 3LT 2-tone interior is ordered, you can add 2-tone seats as a $695 option. The outer areas are ebony and the centers are the secondary color.
4LT interiors add leather-covered upper door panels and upper dashboard in the secondary color.
Once you decide which color you want and IF you aren't in a hurry, you may be able to find someone who is upgrading or changing their interior who has take-off parts in the color you want. Several here have done that. Just a suggestion. As for the seat upholstery, you'll probably have to get it from one of the vendors here, partstaxi.com or gmpartshouse.com or have custom sets done by someone like Down South Vettes (dsvettes.com).

Speaking of which... I *MAY* (and I mean MAY) be interested in swapping all of my red panels for ebony ones in the very near future (depends on what I think of the color match after I get my car back next week after being repainted a different color)
