Over the years since 2002 I have somehow managed to collect 3 of the see through tops for C5 and C6 cars. I just bought a 20011 G.S. and one of the tops fits perfectly so it's on the new car. The other two seem to have a different profile and don't fit this car.
I have finally decided to sell the remaining tops, but I am no longer sure what they belong to. The possible suspects are a 2002 C5, a 2005C6, and a 2008 C6. The two that don't fit the GS both have an overall smooth profile, while the one that does fit has a "raised" portion, about 4'' wide, on the two outboard edges where it meets the windows. This seems to match the body of the car.
My question is: Does anybody know how to tell what the other two are from or what they will fit?
If they are kind of a double bubble look, they are C5 tops, if they are smooth across the top w/ no creases or "bubbles" then they would be C4 tops. C4 tops have no latches so that would be an easy way to tell. Probably C5 tops.
Thanks to everyone for the help. Not sure how I ended up with two C5 tops since I only owned one, but...
And to all you guys that thought that this thread was about ''something else''....you guys have got to get out a little more!
