Default Picture Question?

Why is it that some are able to post their pictures with their thread or comments and others either have to post a link or their pic just doesnt show up....Does it have anything to do with the level of membership?

No, membership has nothing to do with it. . Some just don't know how to do it. Set up a photo bucket account. Upload the pics there. Copy the img code and paste it in your post. Many members here just use the free membership. You should click on the membership options and see the differences there.

it really isn't that hard to do, like David said, you need to copy the "IMG" code and paste from photobucket. If I see links, I generally won't bother to look as it takes too long to go through all the pictures.

Well if you have a membership you can do a direct up load of a pic to the post without using a photobucket type of post.

Well, maybe I was just doing something wrong. But the first time I tried to post a pic, I used Flickr. That didn't work. The URL showed up between the "IMG\" brackets, but the pic didn't show. Then, I tried photobucket and it worked fine. Maybe the forum just likes some image hosting services better than others?

It's doubtful. You probably did something wrong when you were doing it from Flickr. There is a test forum:

Flickr works fine also. It is just a question of putting the image URL in the img box that is created when you hit the 'insert image' button at the top of the post.
