Default Anyone know how to get into my C6?

Both FOB's get close to the car but do not unlock. All buttons work on FOB save for the hatch one and unlock one. I can lock it, and I can make it alarm only.

Can't get in and the manual is, well, in the car. It's a 2005 coupe auto.

Any thoughts on how to get into my car, lol..........

use the key in the keyhole above the license plate to open rear hatch, then pull the door release cable in the left rear wheel well

Use your trunk key. Once you're in there, there's a mechanical latch on the right that opens the driver's door.

Make that the left rear of the cargo area. You'll spend a great deal of time looking around the right side and won't be happy with your results since the pull cord is on the left rear!

Read the owners manual before you need it because it may be locked in the car.

I learned that in an MBA class.

Yep, separate key for the 05. And, if I remember right when I tested it, the alarm will go off too.

In that case will putting the FOB in the slot in the glove compartment and starting the car shut the alarm off?

Not sure about that. I was just testing it, so the FOB was working. I just used that to turn off the alarm.......that is after I changed my shorts. The hood was up, so that alarm was a loud mother and scared the crap out of me. I'm sure the neighbors enjoyed me screaming like a little girl....

Lock and Key Tech will insert a a "air wedge ' at rear of drivers window and insert a long adjustable rod and hit the door button. If that doesn't work the rod must snag the release cord between the seat and the door.

change the battery in the fob. A low battery will cause it to do strange things such as unlock doors but not hatch etc or visa versa.

Thanks all for the help. Not only were the FOB batteries dead but car battery was dead as well. I had the "double whammy" of battery issues. Eventually got in through the hatch and charged the battery. All good....for now.

And no I haven't used the car much as an FYI.

it will have to grab the emergency release handle betw. the door and seat, if I'm correct, since pushing the door button won't do it. if it's locked, you'll need to first push the toggle button for lock/unlock, then the door button.
