Default TPMS switched

I was getting a high pressure warning on my LF tire the other day while on a rather long ride.I pulled over and bled some air (actually nitrogen) out of the left front a couple of times and after watching the RF pressure drop on the cluster instead came to the realization that the front wheels must have been switched when I had new tires installed a couple of years ago.Is there a way to reset the TPM readings on the dash to their proper positions without switching the wheels back or breaking down the tires, etc.?

Yes but you'll need a tool or to go somewhere that has one.

most tire places have the tool, go to where you had it done and have them reprogram in correct sequence. I have one if you are in Ft lauderdale area....Long drive for you though...

And get a tire gauge to carry in the car with you...the TPMS system shouldn't be used to inflate or deflate a tire....only as a reference when you are moving.
