What would be the value for a 2006,6 spd., Z51, salvage title, all receipts for GM parts,(front end damage), 8K miles, looks and drives like new,no engine damage, title is only problem. Any help on what value may be?
Maybe $17k or $18k. A salvage title is a killer. Unless you plan on keeping it for a LONG time, whatever you save on the front end, you'll lose when you try to sell it.

idoctr only you can really answer this question...How much money do you want to save?..
like its stated above its resale thats going to kill you...But all of our modern Vette loose value rather quickly..If you want a Vette on the Cheap..go for it...I'll say around 21k tops
You will not be able to buy a C6 with 8k miles and a salvage title for 10k unless there are apparent problems with the car. If you could, I'd have another C6 right now to turn into a racecar, lol.
I'd agree that $10k back of market for the salvage title is probably realistic - - so mid/high teens tops. Certainly low miles, but you can buy an unhit regular title C6 in the mid/lower $20's depending upon your market area.
Tough call . . might be a decent value now, but you'll pay a big price on the back side unless you can scrub the title.

Good luck.
Agreed. Mid-high teens is much more reasonable and likely.
I also agree that you need to understand that you'll have a tough time selling the car, but there's always a buyer for the right price. Plenty of people take 30k hits on their C6s when they sell em...no big deal dropping this car off for whatever you can get for it after you're done beating on it
"Experts recommend caution when purchasing a salvaged vehicle, because there may be hidden damage, which, if unrepairable, may legally render the vehicle a "pile of parts."
Kelley Blue Book automatically rates any salvage vehicle as "poor" and does not value it at all.
So unless this is going to be a dedicated track vehilce OR you truly know firsthand what's wrong, it's usually not worth it.
In almost all cases, salvage title is given to any vehicle that has sustained damage worth 75% or more of its value. For example, if you drive a 2002 Honda Civic worth $9415 and it suffers $7061 in damage in a collision, it’s going to be branded with a title stamped “salvage.” In other words, it’s not considered fit to drive. Some states also call this a junk title.
