2500 miles!? WOW! You got yourself almost a brand new car there! I have had my '11 GS for 2 months, and I already have 1000. Anyways. I have nothing to contribute. Just wanted to say congrats on your 1st Corvette. This is my 1st as well. ENJOY!

Any ? you have, these guys and gals are MORE than willing to help! Enjoy your new ride!
As far as the stereo and navigation, I would probably look aftermarket (i.e. Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, etc.) Stock stuff may run a premium and from what I heard not really worth the money. All wires in the dash can be used for aftermarket stuff, but will need a harness for the new radio and some converter boxes to keep onstar and beeping warning system.
Check the electronics forum for further advice. Good luck and welcome to the club!!
For an aftermarket nav/radio/DVD player you might want to contact C5BearsFan. He's a member here and an authorized vendor. He'll get you what you want at a decent price.
Kenwood Excelon DNX-9980HD is their top-of-the-line unit, and very importantly it uses the Garmin nav system. Be sure that you don't get a nav system that's difficult to understand and use, and really you'd be well advised to only get a Garmin based brand.
The GM nav isn't worth the high price because it's so hard to use and the interface is unintuitive. Unless you use it frequently you'll have to refer to the manual most of the time. It does use the the HUD to provide turn by turn directions, and aftermarket systems don't do that, but that's the sole advantage. If you don't have the HUD on your car then it doesn't matter.
