07 A/C smell
For the last 2 months, every morning after my car has been garaged for the night, I get a foul smell like vinegar which dissapates quickly. There has been nothing spilled or left overnight inside the car to create this smell so I need to hear if anyone else has an idea of how to get rid of it.

Also make sure you've changed the in-cabin filter in last year.

common problem caused by bacteria build up on the condenser core... Run your system on non AC cool for a couple of minutes before you put her to bed at night and the problem will go away. More prevalent in areas of higher humidity and hotter climates....... You can always take to the dealership and have them clean your condenser core with vinegar or a solution of bleech and water...

There was a thread I read (maybe here on Corv. Forum) about AC odor in the last couple weeks.
The thread mentioned BG Products, which has a product that you drill a hole into the AC housing and fills the housing with the product (that turns to foam that turns to water and drains out). Also they sell a followup spray deodorizer. Total cost for products is under $40 dollars. I thought this kit was better than GMs kit.
I have had some luck with 50% bleach/ water sprayed into the vents along this, a Lysol or Ozium spray too. Again some luck and some unlucky eliminating odors.
1 - Check drain tube for obstruction.
2 - Check Cabin Filter for replacement.
3 - Turn on "After-Blow" in the Vette computer system w/ a Tech 2
4 - Run the fan w/o AC on for the last few miles before you park the car.
5 - Try spraying bleach, BG Followup, Ozium etc into vent.
6 - Drill the hole and use the BG Foam product.

Is the A/C running when you shut the car off? If so, you are probably getting some residual condensation left in the vents that just sits there stewing until you get the air moving again. I always make sure the A/C is off for several minutes before shutting down. With these automatic systems, it may be running without you even knowing it to maintain a temp or if set on defrost.
