Decisions...
I know it's a long time coming before I get my Corvette,
Have to go through Basic training and Tech school, even then I probably wont have enough.
If my math is right and I stick to the plan,
I should have about $20k after
my first year in college if I sell my truck (Would that be a bad idea?)
My main concern is, what is the speculation as to what'll be available in
the C6 category for that much? I'm, hoping for a Z06 but the chances are
very slim, and I'm willing to go back to C5 if I have to.
Any ideas?

first, thank you for your service 
second, I recommend keeping your truck and completing college, and then buy your Corvette afterwards...
you'll have more money saved, and will be positioned (eventually) for a higher-paying job both in or out of the military...

I've been down that path and this advice is also what I would give you.

Argh. I understand the logic and the reasonableness in that situation.
But the temptation is so great lol.
I believe I'll do that so I can be more stable before I bring a superfast sports car into the mix financially.
EDIT: Also, No grim faces for that salute. I'm a happy guy, intend to be throughout it all.

It's a little tough to answer your question without knowing when you're going to be in the market. 
How are we to know when you're going to be through with basic training and tech school?

Leave for Basic July 5th, get out around September. Going to tech for Tactical Aircraft Maintenance, which takes roughly 4 months, so I'm hoping to be done with that Mid January. And it's Reserves, so I'll be moving straight into college in the Spring Semester hopefully, though not likely.
