wrapping halo and roof?
the guy we normally use at work is on vacation for the next 3 weeks. so i went to houston wraps. the woman showed up 20mins late to open. then when i went inside to ask her about wrapping my halo and roof she was rude as hell. she just said $600. i was like wtf its a corvette tiny roof you wanna take a look at it and give me a quote. she just said no its gonna cost like $400-$600. i said for just plain gloss black. yep. i said ok you lazy b ill just go get it painted then. i went to several other shops but they were all closed saturdays. painter at work said he would paint roof and halo for $250. WHAT PRICES HAVE YOU GUYS PAID TO GET YOUR ROOFS AND HALOS WRAPPED?

I talked to a chevy dealership body shop that recently repaired another car of mine and he said he'd paint the halo for $100 if I brought it in... I'm still trying to figure out how I want to do this. Paint or wrap.

Jeez...I did the wrap of my halo and tinted all my side markers and tail lights for $135.00. That price is absurd. I'll say this...I watched the halo be wrapped. That is a bit tricky. Looks good though and if I decide to change it I can. If it gets damaged I can easily get it done again!
Just a note the material itself cost nothing but, the talent to do it does. So, while I would not go cheap...get someone experienced...bit, I think that price is a little high. Besides..if she wants to be a b---- I would not give them the business if it were free.

yeah thats insane $600 she was just super rude and lazy. the painter at work said $250 for all materials and labor to paint and buff/color sand roof and halo. i was thinking no more than $150 175 to wrap halo and roof.

Never entrust a Corvette -- or anything -- to a person who is rude even before starting a project. Imagine how much she does not care about quality if she is not concerned about customer service before the sale.

I had the halo and top painted for about $400. Personally I like the paint option better, i just dont know how the wrap will hold up to the sun. I heard both are fine though.
