Nothing wrong with Corvette Forum...but most buyers here will expect your car to be priced aggressively.
Translation: This website if full of low-ballers and bottom feeders that will troll your for sale ad if they think your car is priced $1 above what they think it should be.

AutoTrader and Cars.com charge fees, CraigsList is free. I started w/CraigsList and would have moved up to AT and C.Com, if I didn't sell it on CL. My 2-cents.

I had really good responses from Vettefinders and sold my 94 through them about a year ago.

I would advertise anywere and everywhere from cars.com, autotrader, here, even the local paper. I wouldn't put it on craigslist though. I have sold a few cars on ebay and had good experiences with that too. I actually purchased my vette off autotrader.

As I have posted previously. I have had great success buying my last two Vette's here on the Corvette Forum. When selling or buying cars like a Vette, patience is a vertue!! I flew 350 miles to purchase one, and 800 miles for the other and both met my expectations .
The NADA book is an excellant tool for the seller and buyer to gain a real life perspective on the value of the car. When buying from a Corvette Forum owner you are talking to a car guy. A person that is usually very knowlegible of Corvettes and knows the kind of care the car has had.

I bought mine from a Chevy dealership which posted on Craigslist.
I like buying from individuals, but I have found it is easy enough to walk away when their pristine car doesn't match my definition of pristine.
I don't make a lowball offer. I just walk away and get back in the car.
Of course a little pissed because the seller wasted my time.

CarGurus.com They are free and don't limit the pictures you can put up. They will also help in pricing, Plus a $25 ad in Autotrader. If you want top dollar ,stay away from Corvette only and forum advertising. You will find more Covette hobbyists in those areas who won't pay what the Gen public will.
