That's peanuts.....no big deal. I would think if they are going to bother with raising prices they would do more than that.

True, but I wonder if this is a sign of what will happen with future incentives.

True but GM usually raises prices a couple times per year. Option prices probably went up also. In today's economy when they cannot sell enough Corvettes they would be better off "lowering" the MSRP to about 5% above invoice like it is on just about every other car and advertise that they dropped pricing. This will **** off some dealers that make $5 digit profit on selling a Corvette but I bet they would sell more. Knowing GM they would increase the invoice price to within 5% of MSRP though.

I find it interesting that the G/S coupes went up 268% more than than the regular coupes and 321% more than the Z06 coupes.

Maybe, because the GS Coupe is a better seller, i.e., more desirable? And, GM knows that they will be able to generate more revenue by doing this? Could that be the reason?

I would think if your widgets weren't selling that well you would lower prices to motivate interest/sales.
Seems like there having us pay for the incentives through a base price increase And they raise the base every year, and every year the sales #'s go south,( yea i know ''it's the economy stupid'')

They are building a base to jack up the price when the C7's are announced.

Hmmm.

Basic economics. If you can't sell them at yesterdays price, just raise the price.

I want my tuition money back.

Wait a second, mayby I'ii try that with my house.

They have done more then that since 2005! Only they've done it pennies at a time.Pennies add up though! They say this price increase is a direct result of rising oil prices and other stuff.Personally,I think they are pricing this car right out of the so called bang for the buck market and it's a shame! As for the oil and all that, screw those greedy bas***s!!

Sales are inversely proportional to price.

And 2012 prices have not hit yet. But then again Chevy wants to charge almost $27k for a loaded Cruze. My current cars look better every day.

Well then we have to assume that the GS is simply superior to those other models in every way.....

Now THAT is what you call "stirring the pot"

What exactly is a "true sold order"? It's this type of "inventional vocabulary" that scares people away from American car dealers.
