What kind of MPG should I expect with a Z51?
I have a 2005 Z51, 6spd. I don't hot rod the car. Rarely when I do get on it, it runs strong like a bat out of hell. Usually shift 1st, 2nd to 5th. Try to get into 5th at 45 mph and 6th at 55-60 mph. I'm getting 18.9-19.2 mpg.
Used to get 23 mpg with my C5 which had a Z06 motor.
I bought an Air Raid CAI, changed plugs and MSD wires.
It has 88K miles on it. Should I change the O2 sensors?
Some of you will say why am I worrying about mpg? MPG is one metric of how well a car is running.

What is your ratio of highway/city driving? My 2007 6-spd (non-Z51) averaged about 20-21 in the city and about 29-30 on the highway (driving at 70-75). Blended it was about 22-23 based on my ratio of city vs. highway which was about 65/35. It was tuned and had headers, non-cat x-pipe and a couple other bolt-ons mods so I got about 1-2 better mpg than normal based on other's experiences with stock vehicles.

I have an 09 coupe, z51 option, mz6 transmission. After replacing the supercar tires at 7,000 miles with Michelin AS runflats i got 22 mpg in city driving using skip shift in heavy traffic on my last tank full. The dic said my average mph was 28.7. I got 29-30 on interstate driving 70-78 mph. I got about a mile or so less in both city and interstate with the supercar tires, not to mention a rough and noisy ride with the supercar tires but i won't get into all that since this is about gas miliage.
