They both look alright to me. I think the reason the silver looks better to most is that his hood window and transparent top look like they match the lights color. Damn your cyber grey looks dark in that light.
Yes it does but in the sunlight it really look great.
I think your car looks awesome. They both do, actually!! I think you've got the right idea with the fender stripes. I may be partial though, since I have a 2011 GS with the Heritage Package hash marks.

I agree that both look great!!! However if I was Lou, I would add silver GS hashmarks or a nice hood stripe... JMHO...
The only reason why Steve's looks better is because he has dark coloured highlights on his car to match. The hood is painted/stickered the same dark colour as the headlights.
Im sure if the darker car had lighter highlights to match the lighter headlights.. the effect would be the same.
Hi Lou, a friend told me he saw your post on here so I had to search for it. Kind of been hit and miss on the forum lately. I figured you were just waiting to do your stripes before you posted. No, I didn't scam anyone guys. I posted on here to cyber gray owners to see if anyone wanted to swap headlights. The reason I even considered it was that I saw this great looking Cyber Gray Grand Sport with silver headlights and silver fender stripes, along with the silver calipers that looked really cool on Conti's site. http://www.corvetteconti.com/blog/?p=10067
Check it out yourself, it's looks great. As someone else already mentioned, the reason it looks better on mine "at the moment" is because I have other dark accents like my hood and roof that tie it all in. Once you figure out what stripes and whatever else you might do to tie it in it will look even better Lou. I know the pics you sent were taken on a crappy weather day so I'm sure it looks a lot better in the sun as it is. Some of these guys can be hard on us when we ask for opinions on something we have done but that's what makes teh forum such a great place (at times :-)). Everyone has an opinion and I respect that and it really only matters that I like mine and you like yours.
Honestly, since we have done this I have thought of all the different color possibilities there are out there for others to swap headlights and add contrasting or same color stripes and make some really unique looking Vettes. When I posted my pics after our swap one guy with a yellow car said he would like to have black headlights but who would want yellow lights on a black car. Would a black car looks so terrible with yellow headlights, stripes, and maybe calipers to set it off? Same with the silver/jet stream blue cars......makes you wonder doesn't it?

I have an 09 atomic orange, black wheels, orange calipers, blacked out lights etc, I want black headlights, I happen to think a black C6 with some atomic orange headlights, calipers, maybe a pinstripe on a black wheel etc. would look pretty darn nice...so, who wants to swap lights?
Actually, I would bet that silver hash marks would make your lights look better. just me guess. Steve's car look great with your (former) headlights. I'd like to see your lights painted a matte dark charcoal color. But if you like, that's all that really matters.

I like them both. I think the cyber grey cars looks good with the silver headlights and chrome wheels and the silver car looks good with the cyber grey headlights but, it needs comp grey wheels

I have a Cyber Gray GS with Heritage Package and I wouldn't let the dealer put the hash marks on. I have them in the original box. Reason, I just didn't like the look. As you did, I saw the silver headlights witht he hash marks and was impressed. I am now considering the "look".
If I found a set of silver headlights, my concern is how much work is involved in the change out. It's on my list right now. Great look!
