corvette c6 is indeed a beautiful car...
Went to a car wash today in southern CA for a hand wash... would love to do it myself, but they do a good job... 25 bucks
I saw a guy there who had detailed my car before and asked if he could detail it. I have my own wax NXT. So they charged me 50 bucks for the wash and hand wax and detailing. The guy does a great job and I always give him a 25 dollar tip. He knows to polish up the chrome gumbys and the npp tail pipes.
What was interesting was that 3 diff people came up to me to tell me what a beautiful car it is.
08 silver, black inside.
Yes it is a beautiful car!!!
Anyone else complemented on the vette?

the grand sport and wide bodies are not as elegant IMO

This sounds QUIRKY. But I've always liked seeing these from behind on the highway during a lane change. They move so majesticly accross the lanes. Love the compliments at drive thru's.

I'm just chiming in because I love all the comments from Silver vettes...
But, yes, I agree it's the best one yet. I bought a C4 when I wanted a C3 but thought it was a safer buy and when the C5 came out, I didn't really like it was well, and when the 6 came out I said "they really got this one right."

So true. Came out of a store and noticed a guy in his SUV staring at it. As I walked by he said he felt like he has been staring at a naked woman. I said I agree. Had some discussions about both of us wanting a Corvette since youth. As I walked to my car he screamed WELL DONE!

I personally don't like the bigger gills on the front vents of the GS and I really don't like the crome accents on them, but to each their own. I like the flared wide body a bit better than the standard on my coupe.
And I prefer the glass tops to the color.
So whatever, splitting hairs, beautiful cars.

Ok. No problem. Now I understand this is ANOTHER one of those Grand Sport hate threads. Sorry for trespassing. I'll find a C6 GS thread I can feel welcome in. Have a great day!

Our personal rides all have special attractions to them. I think yours is a stellar example of the C6 line. Color is quite classy in the silver/black. It's kinda like my bud who is into Harley's said "If you have to ask, you just don't understand."
