C6 Wind Screen
Hello,
I am new to the Corvette Forum and have a question about Wind Screens for my wife's 2010 GS convertible. We were considering purchasing one through our Chevrolet dealer, and having it dealer installed, but the instructions made it look as if half of the car was going to be removed to get the thing bolted in. My wife is really paranoid that something will either be torn or scratched when she gets it back.
Does anyone have any good or bad experiences that they would share with the addition of a factory windscreen. Any help would be appreciated.

Installation is very simple and takes less than an hour (less than 30 minutes if you've done it before), and a "DIY" project. On a scale of 1 to 10 it's probably a 5.
And no the dealer is not going to take apart half the car.
FYI the windscreen only works with the windows up, and stops about 97% of the "wind" from getting into the cabin area.
