Stater wires appeared to be loose but on further inspection it looks like the whole soleinoid is moving at the stud. Not sure what could be causing the movement unless whatever is holding the soleinoid to the body of the starter is loose. I cant see in there and my hands barely fit between the header. It not moving much but I can see it give with the wrench on the nut.
I will lift it this weekend and get a better look from beneath. Will the starter squeeze out with LG headers? Or do I have to drop the header to get it out?
I agree...doesn't sound like it should be moving. Now this alone won't cause a charging problem but if the main cables to it were lose, now you have a cause.
