Default Widebody Complete - Plus Much More!

I would like to thank Forum Vendor Justin and his team at ZIP Corvettes for a job well done! As you can see below, it was a VERY busy winter on the mods front. (Please forgive the over exposure. I am NOT a photographer). Remaining projects include a custom speaker install and eventually the complete GS/Z06 brake/rotor swap. Personalized plate is on its way (XPLOCIV).

SPECIFICATIONS / MODIFICATIONS:

2007 3LT Corvette Coupe equipped with the Z51 performance package and custom titanium/ebony interior. Performance modifications installed by Next Level Performance include a polished M122 Supercharger that was custom built in Jerry Magnuson’s Race Shop, a 3.2 inch pulley, a custom CAM by Competition Cams, LPE Intake, LPE 100mm MAF, Callaway Wires, Aluminum Fly Wheel, ZIP installed ZR1 Clutch, Hurst Shifter, LPE Hardened Gears, LPE Hardened Output Shaft, DTE Brace, Z06 Sway Bar, Dynatec Polished Long Tube Headers, X-pipe, High Flow Cats, Polished Route 66 Oval Tipped Exhaust and Custom tune by ZIP’s Technical Support Team. The engine is topped off with Titanium Carbon Fiber Component Covers, Braided Hoses, Metallic Silver Accent Pieces and Chrome Billet Reservoir Caps. The car is lowered about 1" with Bilstein Shocks on all 4 corners and sits on CCW Polished 505 Wheels – 18 x 12’s in the front and 19 x 13’s in the rear. Body modifications include Zip installed ZR1 Widebody, RPI Rear Spoiler, Color Matched Rear Diffuser, Custom Fitted RK Sport Hood, Clear Front/Side Markers, Chrome Corvette Bumper Letter Inserts, Corvette Mods’ Complete Interior/Exterior LED replacement kit and Eagle Eyes LED Tail Lights. Interior modifications include the Pioneer AVIC- Z110BT GPS/Navigation Stereo with back-up camera, Aluminum Gas and Dead Pedals, Billet Seat Adjusters and Pillar Gauges by Auto Meter. The Dash Pods, Steering Wheel Spokes, Door Finishers and Console are finished in Titanium Fiber from Apsis. The Steering Wheel, Shift Boot, Brake Handle, Brake Boot and Console Lid are covered in Custom Fitted Titanium/Ebony Leather from DS Vettes. Other off-the-shelf interior accessories include the Chrome Corvette Dash Inserts, Embroidered Titanium Lloyd’s Floor Mats and a Rear Cargo Cover with Embroidered C6 Logo.

Default RK Hood

The RK Hood fits well from the vendor, but I had to have the body shop mod the underside a little to afford sufficient clearance for the 122 Maggie - nothing significant. The hood has great lines! I might have considered the Violator hood if it was available when I purchased mine.

The engine performance package was the first mod - 3 years ago. Last winter, I did the widebody, stereo, clutch, clear bra, and some engine dress-up. So, technically, not all of it was done in one winter, it just all came together in one winter.

I really like the looks of those Route 66 oval pipes in the rear. Each tip looks to be about 4.5" wide.

So many people are buying the Corsa axle-back system, but the tips on the Corsa are only 3.5" and not available in oval. The Corsa is a great system, but I really do like those big oval tips on the Route 66.

How do the pipes sound with the long tube headers and cats?

Well, you spent a boat-load of cash on all that you had done with this car ... very nice!

Very "NICE" looking car, !!

have you ever had it on the 1/4 mile with the supercharger on it? if so any # Time or speed ??

Also have you driven it in traffic w/the supercharger, & if so... how hot did it run?
