quick question on the steering wheel:
I have an 08 which doesn't have the left hand steering buttons. Would it be a matter of taking those out and replace them with my original cover "sans switches"?.
Are the seat covers coming out too? (I believe they had the suede inserts no?)

I talked to some GM folks about this at the C5/C6 Bash, and they confirmed that the material used in the Carbon and Centennial Editions is actually a synthetic suede, not real suede.
They say that this material has been succesfully used for years in other GM cars (Cadillac XLR, Trailblazer SS,...) and is a lot more durable then real suede. It also doesn't peel after being used for a while, and can be cleaned with any regular fabric cleaner, like Scotch-Guard.
Hope this helps.
