Default Mods are a MAJOR headache

My car has been in the shop for 8 weeks for major mods. Today takes the cake. I bought the kenwood cms 300 back up camera. After waiting for the other mods the camera guy calls me dreading to call me . The part to charge and hook up the i pod was BROKEN in the box. That means no camera etc. till the part comes in. That means another day my car is tied up. Wish I started my mods in DECEMBER ! Nothing has gone right. Nothing. No one would believe it all. The hood i ordered was the worst. I ordered another one and made a custom one out of 2 hoods. looks awesome. the paint job for under the hood and interior some activator stuff took 2 weeks to get here. Ordered new rotors to be powdered coated so i didnt have down time. Turns out i had all the time i needed. waste of money. but i do like drilled and slotted better. after all is said and done EVERYTHING LOOKS AWESOME ! I had to cancel the atlantic city show. it has been frustrating. tomorrow i get my car. i know pics, pics and lots of them. u have no idea how much i did. looks so great. any other nightmare mods. funny being tied up cost me money i just ordred more stuff ! I put blue lights in the cove area and rear lighted emblem. BEAUTIFUL !

i had a few issues as well. it's a challenge for sure.

I'm glad it's pretty much over for me after three years of modding. now i can just enjoy it.

I guess some people screw around with mods and other people just drive their cars. One would think your car already had enough mods...

Will do
Paint is going to be Tuxedo black, I guess GM stole my idea with their centennial edition, just like they stole our Widebody ideas and came out with the Grandsport

my new DD Lincoln MKS is Tuxedo Black. Their version is a metallic flake on the black. not sure I like it yet although it does hide the dust better.

Yup, been there & done that. My '05 lived at the tuner's shop most of 3 months when I first bought it.

Actually, as irritating as this is, it's a good thing. It helps you arrive at the conclusion that you're done modding.

I just got back from a great little ride an hour or so ago.

I just think it is funny to have someone start a thread that "MODS are a MAJOR headache" where they complain about all the time it is taking and problems they are dealing with and yet they are "NOT screwing with mods". I could care less what people do with their cars but it is hilarious.
