My 2010 GS convertible top liner ripped and so I had the top replaced. It appears that they did a super installation job but now it seems like the road noise is louder to me. Maybe I am just paranoid about the whole operation. Has anyone else experienced this? Could the installer have messed something up with the top alignment? Any input will be appreciated.
since it's a '10, it must've been done under warranty, right? if so, pick a stretch of road that you think is noisy from road surface. drive over it at a certain speed. then, go to the dealer and find another convertible and do the same with possibly a technician along with you to compare the two cars.
otherwise, I'm not sure what the installer could have forgotten to put back in, but there are wiser heads around here with convertibles who might know, i.e., cclive (chris), et al.

Is it possible the replacement top was thinner material?
I'm tagging along since I also have a 2010 GS and at times have heard what sounded like a tearing sound while the top was coming up....so I may need to hear the outcome of this. Keep us posted!
