Default re-calibrating TPMS

I've noticed a change in readings for my TPMS read-out...no tire changes or altitude changes involved, just a reduction in correlation between my gauge and the TPMS read-out.

Before putting the Vette to bed last fall the TPMS was within a pound of my gauge and not an issue in my mind. Since I've returned the car to the road and have reset the tires after their modest winter leak down the gauge is reading what I set in the tire, but the TPMS indicates about 4 pounds lower. The drive-it-until-it-resets routine has not resulted in any change.

Is there any way to reset or recalibrate the TPMS, or should I just ignore those annoying little red flag alerts from OnStar telling me I have low pressure and rely on my gauge?

Thanks,

NS

No, no way to calibrate.

Just gotta ask, are you sure your gauge isn't the problem? Do you have access to any other gauges to check?

Moroso dial gauge, new, seems good quality no complaints and is very consistent. Don't use cheap*** pencil gauges.

Car is 2008 coupe.

Will live with the difference; not a real big deal, just annoying. I suspected the TPMS are not something that can be calibrated, thought I'd ask.

Thanks,

NS
