07, took mine off. I made a drawing with measurements in case I ever want to put them back on.

Took them off then siliconed them over the bottom 2 unused screw holes on my rear license plate frame. Still on the car but not getting snagged every time I wash it.

Took mine off right away-- the car looks a lot cleaner without them. They come off really easy, too

Took mine off, was one of the first things I did when I got the car. Those things really looked tacky IMO

I took one off; left the other on. The best of both worlds.

I agree and this was my first Mod as soon as I got the Vette home. Threw them in the trash which might have been a mistake as it looks like I could have sold them to some on this Forum.

I used fishing line and carefully sawed through the foam part of the double sided tape they are stuck on with. I then used Goo Gone to remove any residue. Came out perfect, no scratches. It enhanced the flow of the Vette lines and it looks much cleaner.

After reading an article on aerodynamics, I decided to take mine off.

Besides the clean look, there's an added benefit of .00000361 mpg increase due to a .0000048% decrease in overall weight and a .0000006253 reduction in aerodynamic drag.

You mean putting on Z51 badges doesn't counter that?
