Default Convertable top

Stupid question. I have only owned hardtop and coupes never a vert
My question is on a power top after I turn the lever in the front the
top will not go down. Is there a lever for the back. If so where is it.

Thanks, Rudy

To lower the top on my 2008, I release the latch at the front of the top, push the top up a little bit, and then push the button on the dash just to the left of the steering wheel.

Remember that the top will not attempt to lower if the trunk is open (or even just popped).

Check the trunk, the partitian has to be in place, I think the sensor is on the right top peg that it slips onto.

Agreed, the top won't move until you push it up a bit.

and/or the hand brake has to be set. the windows will also go all the way down, if you haven't done it already. same thing on putting the top up.

that initial "lifting" of the top isn't huge---about 3"-5" or so off the windshield header.

Betcha anything that partition is not up.

There is a flap in the trunk. Lift it up and snap it into place.

I don't have a Vert but another member (46490) and I installed an insulation kit on his Vert. We couldn't figure out why the top wouldn't go back up. Apparently the windows had to be reinitialized and in the up position for it to work. That was on a 2008.
