FWIW, I've weighed the various GM C6 wheels (except ZO6 & ZR1), they all weigh within a pound of each other. However, any GM chrome wheel weighs about one pound more than its painted counterpart.

So I went with these wheels, the installer is ordering them and will install balance and I keep my damaged gumby's. I am happy with this deal.
THe only problem is the wheels won't be available for about 30 days, adn I have checked 5 vendors all get them from the same warehouse, so I guess I just have to wait.
Thanks

Good deal and those wheels look great, waiting the 30 days a small price to pay for everything going smoothly....now, can you give me the name of that installer, I need some new wheels too!

Because brake dust accumulates around the rivets and they are a PITA to keep clean.

Regardless, good to hear you got things worked out to your satisfaction.

Of course your last follow up needs to be pics of the new wheels on your car.

If you are a REGULAR customer of theirs then they should do everything possible to make you happy. I don't know whether or not they can be repaired. They seem to be trying to work with you. Let them try and make the repair. If it's not to your satisfaction, then you move up to the next step. It's pretty clear that with a little care, that damage could have been avoided.

Its a shame we have to do it but every time I take my car in for service, I have them walk around the car, check the rocker panels and rims and have them sign off that there is no damage.

Since they acknowledge that they caused the damage, your already ahead in the game. Good luck and hope the repair and or relacement is to your satisfaction.

New Wheels should be here tomorrow, pics to follow. The installer, Discount Tire in Moore Oklahoma has done a good job working to make this right. I will continue to use them for my tire needs.

Glad everything worked out! Did they let you keep your original wheels, too?
