I own a 2005 Corvette, had a to replace a tire, and things were fine, however now it has a roaring noise, could someone tell me what may be the problem???

It actually sounds like I'm riding in a pickup truck with big wheels on it... does that make sense?

how many miles on 3 tires, on 4th tire? same brand? same model? unidirectional? is the noise fr. the tires?

no different brand of tire, not sure how many miles on older tires, but they still have lots of tread. I'm not sure where noise is coming from, just figured it was from tires. guess i just need to take it in to the tire shop and have them checked...

What was it that caused the need for the tire to be replaced? Anything that could have damaged something?
My wife's SUV had a roar coming from the right front tire....turned out to be a wheel bearing had gone bad.

So it sounds like it's road noise and it's louder now with the new tire? Is that right?

the said the wheel was bent a little but not bad., but, I had hit a big pot hole that made it go flat, not immediatley but made it just in time for new tire
